How it works
Urban mining has no shortage of actors. Collectors, refineries, technology developers, buyers - they all exist. What is missing is the connective tissue: the operator who sources upstream, qualifies rigorously, processes responsibly, delivers traceable metals downstream, and redistributes value along the way. That is the gap iUMiX occupies.
Physical: Toll-refining
iUMiX acquires ownership of concentrates through mandates, purchase agreements, or technology partnerships. Refining is contracted out for a toll fee; iUMiX retains ownership throughout, then supplies the refined metal to premium buyers — through our refining partner for luxury, and directly for other segments.

Digital: Traceability
Every lot receives a unique identifier at source, capturing origin, grade, and environmental and social footprint. A native traceability certificate — designed and owned by iUMiX — travels with the metal to the buyer, unlocking premium pricing across all segments.
