iUMiX was born from six years of applied R&D in urban mining, conducted within PX Precinox, a leading precious metals refinery.

What began as exploratory research grew into an initiative whose scale, urgency, and cross-cutting nature outgrew a corporate innovation function.

A dedicated spin-off was the natural next step: leaner, more agile, and entirely focused on capturing the full opportunity of urban mining. We carry the institutional knowledge, the refinery relationships, the technology breakthroughs, and the team culture of our origin.
